HCL Infosystems, India’s premier hardware, services and ICT System Integration Company today launched ProjectKaushal for Indian Army at Fatehgarh Rajput Regimental Centre. The initiative will focus on providing vocational IT training through HCL Learning for a post-retirement second career option.

 

Speaking on the launch, J V Ramamurthy, President and Chief Operating Officer, HCL Infosystems said, “HCL Infosystems is always committed towards nation building initiatives and we are optimistic of bringing about a veritable change in the society. Kausal is a small initiative through which we would express our solidarity with the Indian army. We aspire to transform every army personnel’s life post retirement by enabling them to explore and set foundation for an exciting secondary career option”.

 

The project reinforces HCL Infosystems’ strength in leveraging its IT expertise for the development and growth of the Indian army. The courses has been designed for 120 hours and a dedicated content development team is working to prepare more than 300 IT Education coursewares, and these will be implemented for project Kaushal. To kick start the project, HCL will be setting up the computer lab with latest infrastructure to provide the IT hardware and networking training to all the Indian Army personnel for the purpose of enhancing their skillset.  The project launched in Fatehgarh, will be soon rolling out to other centres.
