The company today introduced the RP2 System on the entire range of HCL Desktop PCs, namely, HCL Infiniti Pro, HCL EzeeBee , HCL BusyBee and HCL Beanstalk, making it the first computer range in India with the path breaking technology that ensures uninterrupted PC performance in all environments and conditions.
The RP2 System has been conceived by the HCL labs at Pondicherry specifically for Indian conditions. It frees the user from having to depend on an erratic power supply, as well as other electricity related disruptions in work. The optimum performance of a computer can now continue undeterred by long power cuts, electricity failure and voltage fluctuations.

The RP2 System provides continuous power for about 8 hours, making the HCL Desktop PC range the only one to have this kind of unique advantage. The RP2 System will be especially useful for the vast rural areas where power is typically available for a limited time. With the help of an RP2 system, users in such areas would continue to get maximum value from their PCs, irrespective of power shortages. The System will be available in a bundle with all HCL Desktop PCs and comes with a one year warranty.
The RP2 System has been developed to deal with and overcome all existing problems related to power supply. “The key criteria of running a successful enterprise of any size is being able to deliver on time; and power problems can play havoc with this. The RP2 System will make computing a seamless experience”, Mr Chowdhry added.
